Bar Lead / Front of House Manager

Location: The Blind Finch – Spring, TX

Compensation: $25–$35 Full-Time

Reports to: General Manager & Assistant General Manager

Overview:

The Bar Lead is responsible for managing front-of-house operations, overseeing bar service, and leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This position blends hands-on service, leadership, and operations management in a fast-paced, high-end cocktail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Oversee daily bar and FOH operations including scheduling, staffing, cleanliness, and safety

·       Lead, train, and mentor bar and FOH staff in service standards, beverage prep, and presentation

·       Manage inventory, ordering, and waste-reduction efforts

·       Ensure compliance with all local/state alcohol service laws and ServSafe guidelines

·       Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally

·       Collaborate with management on events, seasonal promotions, and product offerings

·       Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and brand consistency

·       Secure building and assets during closing procedures; ensure “close to open” readiness

·       Track sales and performance data to help drive profitability and improvements

Qualifications:

·       Proven leadership experience in bar or restaurant management

·       Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and FOH operations

·       TABC and ServSafe Certified or willing to obtain

·       Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

·       Professional appearance and commitment to guest satisfaction

·       Ability to stay composed and make smart decisions under pressure
