"In A Different Key" A Project Beacon Community Awareness Event

Join us for a community conversation regarding the film, IN A DIFFERENT KEY. Our event will share the film, and bring together an expert panel that will discuss the existing solutions and gaps in services in our local community. We will also have a resource fair to connect with service providers, local agencies, and other non-profits working to create a community of caring.

I?N A DIFFERENT KEY shares the story of a mother that finds the first person ever diagnosed with autism. His remarkable life story holds promise for her autistic son and millions of other people on the autism spectrum. Their continuing struggle to find a place in the world is captured as never before.

The film presents honest portrayals of who our autistic neighbors really are, what social obstacles they’re up against, and how easy it is to have the back of someone who is different.

While many communities fail autistic individuals through misunderstanding and exclusion, IN A DIFFFERENT KEY shows what is possible when the difference is accepted and embraced.
