Kristy Tamayo is the co-founder and operator of Knead Me Bakery, a small-batch bakery serving the Shenandoah and greater Woodlands community. With a professional background in healthcare technology and a love for problem-solving, Kristy traded complex systems and clinical logic for sourdough starters, spreadsheets, and the equally complex world of small business ownership.

She is passionate about creating a bakery that is more than a place to buy great bread—it’s a space where customers, local makers, artists, and fellow small businesses feel connected and supported. Kristy believes some of the best parts of owning a small business come from the relationships built across the counter and throughout the community.

When she’s not working on the next KMB idea, she can usually be found insisting she is “just going to check one thing” at the bakery.
